About Us

Margaret Surrock, a registered nurse and resident of Rio Rancho since 1970, saw the need for quality continuing care for the elderly.  Her nursing experience covers many areas including geriatric care, orthopedic nursing, medical, surgical, and hospice nursing.  Harmony Residential Care, Corporation opened its doors to welcome the first resident to “Harmony House” in the fall of 1997.   In 2002 the 2nd home “Abundant Living” opened its doors to try to meet the growing need for quality senior care. 

Resident Assistants:  All resident assistants are trained in state approved medication assistance and first aid.  Additionally, care attendants receive on-going training to maintain competency in their job duties.   For your safety and security, all employees must pass drug testing and criminal background screening.
